Ans:-The poet thinks that their teachers must have a special appointment at four o'clock because they are extraordinary persons. The poet wants to discover the routine and duties of the teachers after school hours. The poet is very curious about the work and extra duties of teachers. He wants to know about them in detail.
(ii)What are the things normal people do that the poet talks about?
Ans:-Normal people get freshness just after returning to their homes. They take refreshment and rest for a while. They go to the market to help their family members. Some of the persons have their special appointment if they are professional in their special fields.
(iii)What does he imagine about
(a)Where do teachers live?
Ans:-The poet imagines that the teachers live with their family members. It must be a joint family where they can help the children learn their courses properly.

Ans:-They must wash their socks, change their dresses and enjoy watching TV for the time being. They prepare their lessons to be taught the very next day in the classes.

Ans:-They must live with their parents affectionately like all the children do. Their parents love them very much.

Ans:-When they were students at their school they spelled the words incorrectly, liked to chew chocolates in the class, and might have been punished. They may have improved very fast in their subjects.
(iv) Why does the poet wonder if teachers also do things that other people do?
Ans:-The poet thinks that his teachers are extraordinary people, worthy of respect, and full of knowledge so the poet wonders if teachers also do things that other people do.
(v) How does the poet plan to find out? What will he do once he finds out?
Ans:-The poet plans to follow one of his teachers one day to discover his activities after school hours. He will write a poem based on the findings of his teacher so that other students could get benefit from the poem. He would write and recite in the class so that all the students would get the benefit.
2. What do you think these phrases from the poem mean?
(i)punished in the corner
Ans:-It is usual thought that whenever a teacher finds any student taking chocolates during class hours, or making spelling mistakes he asks the student to stand in the corner of the classroom which is considered to be a punishment. Some of the teachers only after a few seconds call the students and try to rectify them.
(ii) leave their greens
Ans:-Some of the students are found in the classroom who don't have their lunch properly. They leave the green-cooked vegetables or throw them willingly into the dustbins. They are involved in their private talks or they are unwilling to take healthy food instead of junk materials prepared as the food.
