1. How did the two baby birds get separated?
Ans:- The two baby birds lived in a tree peacefully with their loving mother. A storm fell down the tree consequently their mother was killed. Both of them were blown far away from each other by the strong wind. Thus, they got separated very soon.
2. Where did each of them find a home?
Ans:- One of them found a home near a cave where robbers lived and the other at the ashram of a rishi.
3. What did the first bird say to the stranger?
Ans:- No sooner did the bird see the king he asked the robbers to rob the stranger’s (king’) jewels and horse hurriedly.
4. What did the second bird say to him?
Ans:- The second bird showed hospitality and asked the king to drink water and make him comfortable.
5. How did the rishi explain the different ways in which the birds behaved?
Ans:- The rishi expressed his view regarding the two birds. He said that the first bird stayed with robbers so it spoke the language of the robbers whereas the second bird lived near the ashram so it repeated the words of rishi. They showed their impacts of company.
