Answer the following questions.

1. What did Patrick think his cat was playing with? What was it really?
Ans:-Patrick thought his cat was playing with a little doll. It was not a cat but a man of the tiniest size. It was an elf that Patrick did not understand properly.
2. Why did the little man grant Patrick a wish?
Ans:-The little man wanted Patrick to save his life from the cat and requested him not to give him back to the cat. Patrick did the same. Now Patrick was bound to comply with the orders of the man. So the little man granted Patrick a wish.
3. What was Patrick's wish?
Ans:-Patrick said that doing homework was a boring job. He wanted the little man to do all his homework till the end of the session. The very this was his wish. He wanted to be pleased by getting his all homework done.
4. In what subjects did the little man need help, to do Patrick's homework?
Ans:-The little man needed help in Mathematics, English, and History to do Patrick's homework.
5. How did Patrick help him?
Ans:-Patrick complied with all the suggestions of the little man to get his homework done. Patrick did everything according to the instruction of the little man. The little man wanted Patrick to bring books from the library and read to him and guide him. Patrick read the books and guided him sitting beside him. This is how Patrick helped him to get his homework done properly.
6. Who do you think did Patrick's homework-the little man or Patrick himself? Give reasons for your answer.
Ans:-I think Patrick himself did his homework. The little man only instructed him like a helpless person. Patrick helped the little man by reading books and guiding him at every step. In this way, he was made to do all his homework. Patrick thought that his homework was done by the man. Ultimately he had no bound of his happiness. He was so innocent that he did not understand the glorious tricks of the man who helped him do his homework which was done by Patrick himself.
