Ans:-Patrick thought his cat was playing with a
little doll. It was not a cat but a man of the tiniest size. It was an elf
that Patrick did not understand properly.

Ans:-The little man wanted Patrick to save his
life from the cat and requested him not to give him back to the cat. Patrick
did the same. Now Patrick was bound to comply with the orders of the man. So
the little man granted Patrick a wish.

guided him sitting beside him. This is how Patrick helped him to get his homework done properly.

Ans:-I think Patrick himself did his homework.
The little man only instructed him like a helpless person. Patrick helped the
little man by reading books and guiding him at every step. In this way, he was
made to do all his homework. Patrick thought that his homework was done by the
man. Ultimately he had no bound of his happiness. He was so innocent that he
did not understand the glorious tricks of the man who helped him do his homework which was done by Patrick himself.
